January 11, 2012
Over three years after an anti-Christian pogrom in the eastern Indian province of Orissa left dozens dead and 50,000 homeless, two Christian leaders have been arrested.
Police arrested Baliguda Junus Pradhan, leader of the Christian organization Jana Kalyan Samaj, accusing him of links with Maoists. Police also arrested Raikia Sukadeb Digal, a Baptist pastor, accusing him of forcibly converting Hindus.
