6th former Anglican bishop joins English ordinariate

Former Anglican Bishop Robert Mercer has been received into the Catholic Church in England’s new Anglican ordinariate.
Born in Zimbabwe, Robert Mercer was Anglican Bishop of Matabeleland from 1989 to 2005, and later acted as bishop for the Traditional Anglican Communion in Canada. He becomes the 6th former Anglican bishop to join the Ordinariate of Our Lady of Walshingham.
