Mary as the model for priests' Advent spirituality

The Virgin Mary provides the model for priestly spirituality during Advent, said the prefect of the Congregation for Clergy.
Cardinal Mauro Piacenza recalled how the Blessed Mother “received the announcement that changed the history of humanity,” then waited prayerfully for the birth of her divine Son. In fact, he said, she lived her entire life “constantly in prayerful vigilance.”
