5,000-seat parish dedicated in Pakistan
CWN - November 11, 2011
A 5,000-seat Catholic parish has been dedicated in overwhelmingly Muslim Pakistan. St. Peter’s Catholic Church includes a perpetual adoration chapel and is the largest parish in the nation, dwarfing the archdiocese’s 2,000-seat cathedral.
“It is a sign of our growing faith and was a great challenge to make a structure which can hold so many people,” said Archbishop Evarist Pinto of Karachi.
