Cardinal Wuerl dedicates new seminary
CWN - October 28, 2011
In response to an increasing number of priestly vocations, Cardinal Donald Wuerl of Washington has dedicated a new seminary for college and pre-theology seminarians.
“Just as Jesus on the cross entrusted John to his mother, so does the Church today continue to encourage all of us to entrust our lives, our vocation, our ministry, our service to Mary, mother of Jesus, mother of God, mother of the Church,” Cardinal Wuerl said at the dedication of Blessed John Paul II Seminary.
The Archdiocese of Washington has 72 seminarians, including 35 college and pre-theology seminarians.
