Mexican cardinal urges action against corruption

A leading Mexican prelate has expressed support for a local governor’s anti-corruption plan.
“I think it is a necessity, a matter of urgency, it is important to fight corruption,” said Cardinal José Francisco Robles Ortega of Monterrey, who urged citizens to come forward with evidence of corruption by public officials.
