Mongolian president meets with Pontiff

Pope Benedict XVI met on October 17 with President Tsakhiagiin Elbegdorj of Mongolia.
The brief conversation between the Pope and the visiting Asian leader revolved around the “good relations that exist between Mongolia and the Holy See,” the Vatican revealed in a public statement after the meeting. The two also spoke of Asian political affairs and inter-religious dialogue.
