‘Big Porn, Inc.’

CWN - October 17, 2011

In a recent interview, Australian pro-life feminist Melinda Tankard Reist discussed the findings in her new book, Big Porn Inc.

“The internet has been a massive boon for the porn industry, estimated to reach $100 billion by 2013,” she says. “There are so many who profit from it, from traffickers who sell women who are used to make pornography, to the porn companies who make the porn, to the hotels who profit more from pay-per-view porn that they do selling rooms and the mainstream companies who profit from carrying porn brands.”

“There is so much about the industry which is destructive, but my main concerns is the impact on the developing sexuality of young people.”
