Cardinal Bertone writes book on globalization

Libreria Editrice Vaticana, the Vatican’s publishing house, has published a new work by Secretary of State Cardinal Tarcisio Bertone. The book, which is available in English and Russian, is entitled The Ethics of the Common Good in the Social Doctrine of the Church,. It has a foreword by Metropolitan Kirill, the Russian Orthodox prelate who oversees the Moscow patriarchate’s ecumenical relations. According to a review published by the Acton Institute, Cardinal Bertone’s offers a ‘positive appraisal’ of ‘the new challenges brought on by rapid growth, stressing the potential common good realized by economic globalization.’
