Modern culture needs moral conversion: Cardinal Bagnasco
CWN - August 30, 2011
"There is need of a great cultural and social conversion," said Cardinal Angelo Bagnasco, the president of the Italian bishops' conference.
The Italian cardinal said that today's society needs a new ethical standard: a more serious approach to morality to replace "the culture of an easy and selfish life."
"The moral issue in politics, as in all other realms of public and private life, is grave and urgent," he said.
