Nicaraguan Church leaders want probe of priest's death
Catholic World News - August 25, 2011
Church officials in Nicaragua are demanding an inquiry into the violent death of a priest who had been a critic of the government.
The body of Father Marlon de Jesus Garcia was discovered in a dump; he had apparently been strangled. Archbishop Leopoldo Brenes of Managua, who presided at the priest's funeral, called for a prompt investigation.
