US bishops approve blessing for children in the womb

By a 223-1 margin, the US bishops yesterday approved a liturgical blessing for children in the womb. The blessing, which may be used during or outside Mass, will be added to future editions of The Book of Blessings if it is approved by the Congregation for Divine Worship and the Discipline of the Sacraments.
