Vatican newspaper pays tribute to scholar Raoul Manselli

The July 21 online edition of L’Osservatore Romano devotes two articles to Raoul Manselli (1917-84), an Italian historian who spent the latter part of his life studying St. Francis and the early Franciscans. Manselli’s St. Francis of Assisi remains in print nearly three decades after its publication in English.
