California diocese may purchase Crystal Cathedral
CWN - July 07, 2011
The Diocese of Orange has announced that it may make a bid to purchase Crystal Cathedral, the 3,000-seat Protestant church built by televangelist Robert Schuller.
A diocesan spokesman told the Orange County Register that the diocese would abandon its plans to construct a new cathedral if the purchase were completed.

Actually, it would be appropriate. Their TV theme hymn, the great old Protestant one, How Great Thou Art, having firmly entered the Catholic repertoire.
