Pope encourages traditional June devotions to Sacred Heart
CWN - June 15, 2011
At his regular public audience on June 15, Pope Benedict XVI reminded the faithful that the month of June is traditionally devoted to the Sacred Heart of Jesus.
As he concluded his weekly audience, with short greetings to various groups in attendance, the Holy Father took a moment to speak of the Sacred Heart devotions that are “celebrated in many churches and communities.” He continued: “I encourage you to keep this beautiful tradition alive.”
