Cardinal Tauran lauds Korean standards for religious tolerance

Cardinal Jean-Louis Tauran praised South Korea as a model of inter-religious tolerance, during a courtesy visit to the nation’s President Lee Myung-bak on May 26.
Cardinal Tauran, the president of the Pontifical Council for Inter-religious Dialogue, said that the people of Korea “live in interfaith peace, an example of important universal values like family, life, and moral teaching for the young.”
