New Vatican document on extraordinary form of the Mass (full text)

With the approval of Pope Benedict XVI, the Pontifical Commission Ecclesia Dei has released Universae Ecclesiae, an instruction on the application of Pope Benedict’s 2007 motu proprio Summorum Pontificum. The instruction, released on May 13, was dated April 30 and signed by Cardinal William Levada, prefect of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith and the commission’s president.
