Vatican signs accord with Azerbaijan
Catholic World News - May 02, 2011
The Vatican has announced a new accord with Azerbaijan, establishing the juridical status of the Church in that country.
The pact, which was signed on April 29, guarantees the right of Catholics to worship freely and profess the faith openly in Azerbaijan, protects the exchange of information between Catholic dioceses and the Holy See, and establishes the credentials of Vatican diplomats.
