UK: Islamic doctor suspended for 'homophobic' opinions
November 04, 2008
The head of England's Islamic Medical Association has been suspended from the practice of medicine for one law, and required to make a formal public apology, for writing a letter to the editor of Pulse magazine in which he said that homosexual activities are "the root cause of many sexually-transmitted diseases."
