Description

An online site devoted to making the Liturgy of the Hours available in various electronic formats. The Ministry of Divine Office is a non-profit organization dedicated to gathering assets beneficial to the community of Christians praying the Liturgy of the Hours.

The site offers a collection of Roman Catholic prayers online and via the iPhone, iPod, and iPad, in partnership with Surgeworks, Inc. It provides an iOS app that takes the full text and audio for the Liturgy of The Hours of the Roman Catholic Church to the iPhone and iPad and has released the Divine Office app for Mac through the new Mac App Store.

Divine Office uses the current four-volume “Liturgy of the Hours,” the official prayer book of the Roman Catholic Church, however, it is also suitable for individuals following most Christian traditions.

Divine Office “Liturgy of the Hours” audio and full text is available free of charge with a free companion audio podcast on iTunes. A small one-time download charge for the Divine Office Mac app supports the Ministry and development efforts. Other apps offered by the Ministry include:
