Website Review: Priestly Fraternity of Saint Peter, The

A review based on: http://www.fssp.com

Description

The Priestly Fraternity of Saint Peter is a Society of Apostolic Life of Pontifical Right founded with the approval of Pope John Paul II in 1988, "for the formation of priests in the framework of the traditional liturgy of the Roman Rite and their pastoral deployment in the Church."

The active apostolate of this Fraternity is to reunite those who have been alienated by liturgical abuse and theological dissent by offering the sacred liturgy in all of its solemnity according to the Latin liturgical books of 1962, and by offering the faithful sound catechetical teaching within the living Tradition of the Church. Those who are nostalgic for the traditional Mass will enjoy visiting this site. Those who are too young to remember may also like to learn about the "Old Mass."
