Catholic Recipe: Tuna with Peas


  • 4 tuna steaks
  • 4 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped parsley
  • 1 pound fresh green peas parboiled
  • 2 tablespoons boiling water
  • 2 tablespoons tomato sauce

Also Called: Fagioli Ventresca di Tonno


Brown fish on both sides in hot oil in skillet. Add onion, parsley. Cook 10 minutes. Add peas, boiling water, tomato sauce. Simmer 10 minutes.
