Catholic Recipe: Spaghetti with Tuna Sauce

    INGREDIENTS

  • 2 package spaghetti sauce mix
  • 1 can (1 pound 13 ounces) tomatoes
  • 1/2 teaspoon seasoned salt
  • 1 teaspoon sugar (optional)
  • 1/4 cup dry white wine
  • 2 cans (6-1/2 or 7 ounces each) tuna
  • 1 package (8 ounces) thin spaghetti, cooked

This is a tomato spaghetti sauce with tuna.

DIRECTIONS

Combine spaghetti sauce mix, tomatoes, seasoned salt, and sugar (optional) in saucepan. Mix thoroughly. Bring to boil; cover; simmer 20 minutes. Add wine and drained tuna; simmer 5 minutes longer. Serve over cooked spaghetti. Makes 4 servings.
