Catholic Recipe: Fireside Punch


  • 1/2 pint brandy
  • 1/2 pint rum
  • 1 pint boiling water
  • 6 Tablespoons sugar
  • Pinch of cinnamon
  • Pinch of cloves
  • Pinch of nutmeg
  • Lemon slices

This warmed alcoholic punch is a great beverage to serve at your 12th night party.


Mix the ingredients in a shining copper pot. Set the pot close to the coals of your Twelfth Night Fire. When the punch begins to simmer, pour it over lemon slices into your bowl.
