Catholic Recipe: Wild Rice Stuffing

  • 1/2 cup butter

Each American family has their own tradition for their Thanksgiving turkey — stuffing or dressing. Here's a recipe for wild rice stuffing, which gives a little crunchiness to the stuffing.


Wash and drain the rice thoroughly. Melt the butter and add the rice, celery, and the onion. Cook, stirring all the while, until the rice browns. Add the stock and the remaining ingredients and simmer for half an hour.
