Catholic Recipe: Saldusis Suris (Lithuanian Easter Cheese)

  • 2 cups cottage cheese
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 teaspoon caraway seed

DIRECTIONS

Mix all ingredients together thoroughly. Place in cheesecloth bag; tie. Press between two plates. Reserve overnight or until firm enough to retain shape. Remove from bag. Slice; serve. Yield, 1 loaf
