SUBREPTION
In canon law, withholding the full truth in a request for some favor. If the request is granted, it is valed provided the essentials required by law were fulfilled. (Etym. Latin subreptio, theft; from subrepere, to creep under, steal upon: sub-, under + repere, to creep.)
