SHEKINAH
The dwelling place of God. It is any visible manifestation of God's presence, several times alluded to in the Bible. It corresponds to God's glory in Isaiah 60:2, his glory in Romans 9:4, and the cloud that directed the Israelites on their way to the Promised Land (Exodus 14:19).
