RESSEB\NTIMENT
A habitual feeling of resentment, at times expressed by acts of emotional violence, harbored by one group of people against another group. The source of the indignation may be envy or the memory of past injuries. It differs from prejudice in being more psychologically conditioned than founded on mistaken judgment.
