PRACTICAL DOUBT
Uncertainty of mind concerning the prudent course of action or the moral rectitude of something to be done here and now. It is the opposite of a merely speculative doubt. (Etym. Latin practicus, active, acting, effective: dubitatio,doubt, deliberation, hesitation.)
