GREAT RELICS

The three main relics of Christ's Passion, preserved at St. Peter's in Rome and venerated on the last four days of Holy Week, Easter Sunday, and on a few other special occasions. They are a piece of the true Cross, the point of the spear that pierced the Savior's side, and the veil that, according to tradition, St. Veronica offered to Christ on his way to Calvary.
