DISMAS
The traditional name of the Good Thief, who was crucified with Christ and to whom Christ promised Paradise (Luke 23:39-43). A portion of the cross on which Dismas is said to have died is preserved at the Church of Santa Croce in Rome, and he is the patron of those condemned to death.
