COMMISSION FOR THE ECCLESIASTICAL ARCHIVES
Established in 1955 by Pope Pius XII, and re-established by Pope John XXIII in 1960. Its purpose is to co-ordinate and supervise the preservation and administration of the archives of the dioceses and religious institutes of Italy.
