COMITY

Association of supernatural gifts with sanctifying grace. Although really distinct from it, a variety of virtues and gifts is infused into the soul along with the vital principle of the spiritual life. They are like the powers through which the divine life is exercised. (Etym. Latin comitas, urbanity; comis, courteous, friendly.)
