AD TOTAM ECCLESIAM

Directory published by the Secretariat for Promoting Unity among Christians. Its main purpose is to delineate in specific norms some of the more critical areas of ecumenical effort and communication, summarily identified by the Second Vatican council. Sixty-three norms are given, some through numerous paragraphs, on: 1. establishment of ecumenical commissions in the dioceses; 2. the validity of baptism by ministers of non-Catholic Christian denominations; 3. spiritual ecumenism in the Catholic Church; 4. co-operation with out separated Christian brethren, May 14, 1967 (Pentecost Sunday).
