Progress report
By Diogenes (articles ) | April 29, 2003 2:23 PM
Just over a year has passed since the leaders of the US bishops' conference, after meeting with Vatican officials, endorsed this statement (among others):
the Pastors of the Church need clearly to promote the correct moral teaching of the Church and publicly to reprimand individuals who spread dissent and groups which advance ambiguous approaches to pastoral care
Notice that the reprimands were to be made "publicly."
So if I haven't noticed them, does that mean I haven't been paying attention?
