ye of little faith

Some students at Notre Dame are trying to block the annual production of the V-Monologues:
"We are sliding toward the way of Boston College and Georgetown (University)," Lindsley said, referring to Notre Dame gradually losing its Catholic identity.
Sliding? Sliding? Don't these Domers realize that BC's and Georgetown's Jesuit and Catholic identity has never been stronger?

The Jesuits no longer run the US Universities. A Provincial can no longer assign a man to teach at a university, a Jesuit has to be named by a department search committee. A Provincial can no longer move men from one university to another because of tenure. The few Jesuits that work at the universities are generally tolerated as a marketing ploy but in no way govern and control what goes on at the U. The family jewels have been sold. The so called Jesuit universities are in the hands of others

I suppose you believe your own fantasies if you repeat them often enough.

I guess the Jebs were showing their strength when they awarded the St. Robert Bellarmine award to Lisa Madigan at Loyola U. in Chicago. Lisa is a graduate of Loyola U. and a screaming pro-abortion,euthanasia etc. etc.advocate. So much for this kind of Jesuit influence. She is an IL politician, by the way, and a Democrat in case anyone cares. Greetings again from my home state - the death state IL.
