Mothers United

The ever-vigilant Church Times features a story headlined 'Take HIV test before you marry' says Mothers' Union:
In a new approach to the problem of AIDS in the developing world, the Mothers' Union is to encourage young people approaching marriage to take an HIV test. The campaign, Living Positively, will be launched next Friday at St Saviour's, Walton Place, in London, before World AIDS Day, which is on Monday 1 December.
This year, World AIDS Day aims at combating the stigma and discrimination directed at those who admit to having HIV/AIDS. This week, the MU said: "Throughout the world, generations of families are becoming infected because young people are frightened of the response they might receive if they disclose their HIV status."
Thanks, mom.
Hush little baby, don't say a word
Momma's gonna buy you a mockingbird
If that mockingbird drops dead
Momma's gonna buy you a fax instead
If that fax machine don't send
Momma's gonna buy you a lady friend
If that lady friend's named Keith
Momma's gonna buy you a latex sheath
If that latex sheath should slip
Momma's gonna buy you an I.V. drip
If that I.V. drip goes dry
Momma's Mothers' Union lost a lullaby.
