If you live outside the United States, you may not have heard that the US Supreme Court is permitting gay marriage to become the law of the land by default.

One wonders if it is things like this that have driven twenty-three priests to run for office in Brazil. But no, that cannot be, since faithful priests do not run for office.

Fortunately, this is also the response of the Church, as the Synod on the Family moves into full swing. The president-delegate of the Synod announced that the discussions will be devoted to communicating the Gospel within the Family.
