Mistakes, Books, and Authority

First, permit me some housekeeping.

Apparently the Insights messages did not reach everyone on February 11th, 14th and 18th. I had introduced a bug into the dispatch routine, which I did not discover until the 19th. This past Tuesday's message, A Day in the Life of the Church, is still available (if you're logged in). The other two are gone, and probably not worth reconstructing. My apologies!

Also, you may or may not know that we are in the midst of an interesting and extremely important campaign to secure 500 donations by the end of this month. It's because I didn't do much fundraising in January and February, and so we fell $28,000 behind our budget.

Already! Anyway, I'm hoping to generate some enthusiasm. We have 422 to go, and you can watch the progress on the Action Alert bar on the site. The amount doesn't matter because, trust me, the averages will work out. You can participate here.... [more content for subscribers]
