The Saints Are with Us!

As I race home from the cross-country trip I've been on (I'll be back at my desk on Monday), let me raise your spirits with just a few slivers of evidence that the Church Triumphant is a very firm ally of the Church militant. By which I mean us.

Phil Lawler, who is also away for a few days, begins by inviting speculation about a priest who helped save a life after a widely-reported accident: Hint: how to identify the 'miracle priest' from that accident scene in Missouri.

Let me pause for a moment as well to remind everyone that the one thing the Church Militant (that is, you and I) can do that the Church Triumphant cannot do in this special alliance is to suffer.
