We absolutely must continue to focus on the New Evangelization. I mean we must continue to bring the Good News of our Savior to those in cultures which once received it but have since rejected it. And so I continued to try to explain this week What It Means to Center Evangelization on Christ.

Meanwhile, it is a great shame that the Pope must be sidetracked by too many of those who should be leading the mission. On Wednesday he tried to light a fire under religious around the world. See:

It is also a shame that all the faithful must be sidetracked by bishops who have not yet sufficiently reformed themselves. Phil Lawler explains, in $3 billion and counting: the sex-abuse scandal continues.
