Maronite Synod to meet March 9 for election of new patriarch

The Maronite Catholic Synod of Bishops will meet on March 9 to elect a new Patriarch on Antioch.
The outgoing Patriarch Nasrallah Pierre Sfeir, who has retired at the age of 91, called the meeting to choose his successor.
