Closed parish to become frat house

The Diocese of Albany has sold a closed parish to the Phi Sigma Kappa fraternity for $250,000. “It will be great to have a house for real instead of meeting in apartments,” said Eric Otto, a college senior at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute who will be serving as house manager.

So, the rectory is turned into a venue for frat parties. Well, this is the Diocese of Albany. Might not be as big a change as it appears on the surface.

Just another and very familiar sad page in a very long chronicle of decline, brought about by an utter failure to pass on the Faith. Well, at least they didn't sell the parish to the Ananda Church of Self-Realization, which happened here in the diocese of San Jose a decade or so ago.
