Rome diocese offers online help for pilgrims attending beatification of John Paul II

February 17, 2011

The Rome diocese has launched a web site to provide help for pilgrims planning to attend the beatification of Pope John Paul II on May 1.

The Opera Romana Pellegrinaggi web site provides scheduling information and allows visitors to arrange for transportation, discounted lodging and food, and guided tours. As the date of the beatification nears, the site will provide traffic information. The site will provide live streaming coverage of the ceremony itself.

The Opera Romana Pellaginaggi site already offers service in English and Polish as well as Italian; Spanish and German service will be added soon.
