Muslims join Christians in complaint against Hindu violence

In a welcome display of inter-faith solidarity, Muslims in the southern Indian state of Karnataka have rallied to the defense of Christians, criticizing a government report that downplayed the severity of attacks on Christians.
Muslims and Christians alike are minorities in Karnataka, where Hindu militants have often escaped punishments for their assaults on other religious groups.
