Mass at Vatican for Baghdad massacre victims

November 17, 2010

The Vatican has scheduled a Mass in memory of the Iraqi Catholics who were killed in a murderous assault on the cathedral in Baghdad on October 31.

Cardinal Leonardo Sandri, the prefect of the Congregation for Eastern Churches, will preside at the Eucharistic liturgy on November 25 in St. Peter’s basilica. All the members of the diplomatic corps accredited to the Holy See have been invited to take part.
