Archbishop Jean-Pierre Kutwa of Abidjan, Ivory Coast, has issued a statement of thanks to the nation’s political leaders for their successful management of a peaceful election campaign. The archbishop’s statement also congratulated the nation’s citizens for their participation, and urged them to preserve a calm and peaceful attitude as they await the election results.
