Pope Benedict XVI met on Thursday evening with students from a parochial school near his summer residence at Castel Gandolfo, and told them about his own memories of early school days.
"At school you learn everything you need for life,” the Holy Father told the children. He emphasized the importance of reading and writing, but also the value of early education in the faith.
