Caritas appeal for flood-ravaged Pakistan

Caritas Internationalis, the international consortium of Catholic relief and development agencies, has issued an appeal on behalf of Pakistan, which is suffering from its worst floods in eight decades. Some three million Pakistanis have been affected as roads and bridges are washed away; the death toll is estimated at 1,500.
